Not yet decided Newky. I don’t think it’ll matter whether it’s them or EK in the LL next week that’ll be off as well anyway.

A lot can change in a week Rab but like you I'm no building my hopes up.  What season was it we ended up playing Duns at Gala after that many cancellations? Think it was same trophy?

It was 2 seasons ago, NB - South Challenge Cup R2 in 2015-16.

Whitehill v Duns was postponed on Saturday 14th November... again on Saturday 21st November... yet again on Saturday 28th November... at which point Whitehill = '3 strikes' so lost home advantage (may actually have switched to Duns that day but also been unplayable there).

Duns v Whitehill was postponed again on Saturday 12th December... yet again on Saturday 23rd January... at which point Duns = '3 strikes'.

It was then moved to Netherdale's 3G but got postponed on Wednesday 10th February... again on Saturday 13th February... and was finally played - aet! - on Saturday 20th February.

From the following season the cup ceased automatic priority over LL, and strikes were reduced to 2.

I'd like to see a midweek match at Albert Park under the lights for the novelty and there's one scheduled for Wednesday but I can't help thinking that even if the snow has melted the pitch will be more suitable for water polo as the Teviot will likely have risen with the melt water.
