hearthammer
Seems Zane won't need to feel awkward any more about seeing himself on tv - sans Masterchef apron. https://www.dunfermlinepress.com/news/19160427.dunfermline-rugby-player-prawn-curry-favour-masterchef/

I don't know why they make the final rounds the worst. The little half hour one plate episodes, and the "here's the story of the contestants' middle class upbringings" are a waste of time, especially as you've got pretty much all of the country's top chefs popping in to set tasks in the early rounds. I'd give them over to Marcus Wareing, personally. Get him to set the tasks for the semi finals.
RH33
MasterChef Oz is back on W. First episode is full of packing and alot of fast forwarding has been done. But the skills are awesome!

The tipping point for me was the boy Reynold, who had no professional training, but had washed pots in his mum's restaurant for 20 years and was putting up dishes filled with techniques Heston would be jealous of.

Yeah, some of them have without doubt done some form training which isn't necessarily classed as professional. The Scottish guy who's presenting now is irritating too.
