Bring Your Own Socks
The offical version might be true but it was only a few months after re-signing. If it was all about money why did he start the season with us? At the very least it's peculiar that he got signed by a team, who had seen him for 18 months in the same league, after a lengthy spell when he hadn't played. Airdrie were vary ambitious in January; why an out-of-form player who was playing for a lesser side? And ina position where they have cover? If it was just the Muir incident it would all just be speculation. Hell that's what social media's all about so who cares. But there's been a trend all season, and previous, of Gus making sure his players know who's boss in the most uncomfortable way. Paul Woods was the worst example. As someone who has managed people for over 30 years I'm sure that bullying and public humiliation isn't the way to motivate and get the best from people. Anyhoos, it's all by-the-by now. We have seven games to try and score more goals than the other team. That's it from here on in. Eyes on the prize.
Hampden Diehard
Bottom line is, if you don't want to play for us, feck off.

Understand where you're coming from, but if we have a great start to a season and are top at Christmas, and then several of our players get offers in the January window, then you would quite happily say "if you want to go then we'll gladly cancel your registration and good riddance"? If that's genuinely your stance then we might as well chuck it now as those promotions we've both been fortunate enough to enjoy in our lifetimes will be the last this club ever has...............................unless we turn professonal which is an entirely separate issue. If we allow Muirgate to define our amateur future then it's us whose fecked, not our players.
