I see that Brendas at the wind up again, this time St Johnstone are the target.  He's done the same to us several times this season jumping on the media bandwagon that we're  a dirty side.

But he never talks about the opposition remember! :P

Maybe only talks about them if they try too hard.

If "Browny" had been playing he'd have ran about kicking people until a St Johnstone player complained and was sent off for not accepting "Browny's" robust ways.

That would have changed things.

This. Tierney had just the three instances of falling down clutching his face aswell, not bad going for only being on the pitch fifteen minutes.

But isn't Rodgers saying - a bit crudely - what Saints supporters complain about? That we play well against bigger teams, but struggle to raise our game against bottom six sides.  It's been a problem for years.

Rodgers' comment may be deflecting his own team's limitations, but I don't see much to quibble about with the truth of what he said. Since the start of December, we've played nine games against non-OF teams, earning an average of 0.5 points per game. Against Rangers and Celtic - both away from home - we've averaged two points per game.

You're in a hole you can't get out of here so probably best to stop biting and move onto your next match thread where you will invariably have another meltdown. You've certainly made an absolute c**t of this one anyway.

Second string goalkeeper and right back,a Dundee player with a Celtic top on,2 young talents making there way in the game.
St johnstone can't even manage a shot in anger, even Brechin had a shot on target, nae wonder st johnstone are in a relegation battle.
Brendan giving his northern Ireland buddy a point for old times sake.

So what was the excuse in the first game of the season between the two teams, when both were at full strength?

Meh, wasnt at game and didnt think we looked too bad on highlights compared to what was said on here given it was practically a fully changed out team. After the bottlers bottling it on Saturday we able to make as many changes as we wanted really (injuries allowing). I fully support Rodgers doing this as we needed to give ourselves as much of a chance as possible for Thursday. After the weekend we are another point ahead of second and have rested a lot of players, not the worst outcome really.
