Game was utter gash, worst I’ve seen for a while. That said, we’re looking up, not down so happy days. Personally thought Yule should have come on for Swankie earlier and Macintosh would have been a more dangerous proposition up front but what do I know...... The combination of variable, gusting wind and a frankly poor playing surface (yet with bounce despite being a bit damp underfoot) meant players from both sides struggled with basic control of the ball. Alloa didn’t commit many forward either. Gayfield used to win awards or at least recognition for the quality of the surface but I think it needs flattened and relaid... and perhaps more intensively maintained than wecan afford Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
