After seeing the social media 'competition' Valentine's day has now agreed it's a fucking farce and from now on not to even bother with a card. The idea of restaurants having "valentine menus" is repellent. I tried to book something last week, coincidentally it was the Thursday as that was the only night we could get the bairns watched. Booked solid.... Thats odd says I. Then I remember its valentines, looked at the set menu that was on offer and was delighted it was booked solid as the menu was fucking terrible, and me and the Mrs took our youngest one out for lunch instead.
