Disco30
Fell on her bahookie. Aww jeeso thought she would have at least took bronze. Ah well out on her ars* it is.
true_rover
I thought she was unlucky. Looked to me (with absolutely no knowledge!) that the Canadian blocked her off which led to it. No idea how she ended up with bronze after shoving the Korean out the way.
Scotty Tunbridge
State of this blubbering mess.
Bully Wee Villa
I'm no expert either but seems like she left herself too much to do by only being fourth fastest in the semis?
RiG
The snowboarding has been excellent to watch. Shame the women's slopestyle final was ruined because of the wind though. Jamie Anderson with by far and away the best run. And what about Chloe Kim? 16 or 17 years old and absolutely smashing the half pipe with a near perfect score - absolutely incredible! LincolnHearts
I can't believe the Canadian lassie ended up with a medal. Definitely took Christie out.
HibeeJibee
Does it work like that, though, given she clipped her hand? Or is it effectively Christie's problem for putting her hand on the ice in front of where someone is skating?
peasy23
Looking forward to the Ski Cross next week, whole thing takes place over about 3 hours next Wednesday morning for the men and Friday for the women. Hope to see more chaos like this.
Bully Wee Villa
Stop putting the cross events on in midweek mornings, you utter c***s. [emoji35]

Savage Henry
She’s a bottler. Did she not screw up the last finals she was in, and turned into a blubbering mess that time too? Or am I thinking of a different British Olympic speed skater?
Diamonds are Forever
Media seem to be making out that she has somehow been denied a gold medal. Even if she hadn't crashed she was going to get 3rd at the absolute best. She also seemed to bump the Canadian out the way in the corner before, not sure how legal that was. RH33
Christie comes across as a spoilt entitled brat.
Bully Wee Villa
I think she's just ultra-competitive, as you have to be to compete at the top level. Nothing wrong with being upset today. Hope she comes away with at least one medal.
ChoppeReid
Christie was a bit unlucky to get taken out but as someone else said the damage was done with a bad start in the semi. The Canadian on the other hand was lucky as f**k. Should never have been in final and then so lucky to get a medal.Mental sport though. Train for four years then can lose on the whim of the judges or get taken out. lichtie23
Lucky her hand wasn’t sliced by the Dutch lassies skate. What are her chances in other 2 events?

peasy23
The men won their first match in the curling against the Swiss at an extra end. Good win for them as they lost heavily to them at Perth a few weeks ago.Ladies are 3-1 up after 2 ends against the Russians.
peasy23
Ladies won 10-3 with the OAR throwing in the towel with 3 ends to go after losing a 4. Their skip in particular had a very poor game.
