If we'd had Cerny we'd have won that game 4 years ago 3-2 rather than lost 4-3.

Would have definitely taken a point when I saw our team, and while Ciftci's previous record in Scotland shows he isn't a diddy, it was grimly predictable he'd score against us to get his first goal in ages.

How can anyone go and watch Patrick every week? The game is supposed to be about entertainment. What is entertaining about a team that time waste from the first minute?  There is a proposal out there that games should be reduced to 60 minutes with the clock stopped when the ball is out of play.  God knows how that lot we saw today would cope with that. We either need a rule change or refs to stop pointing at their watches then take no action and then add on the standard 4 minutes.
Hopefully it's Hamilton the other great timewasters and Patrick who are bottom by April.

Lovely stuff.

Just me or is that all over the place in terms of chronological order?

They are. The Ciftci chance at just before the 2 minute mark in the video was right when we were walking into the ground, just after kickoff.

ETA - Watching it further, the second half seems to be about right. Everything else in the first might be as well (the first half was fucking dirge, so hard to remember where most of it should go), but that Ciftci one is definitely in the wrong place.

Watching Cifti's goal there. Once again we let a cross come in with no pressure, McGinn could have headed it out wide or just not into an area for a Motherwell runner, that said, Edwards shouldn't have just stood there waiting for the ball to come to him whilst not knowing Dunne was coming in from behind (lack of spacial awareness), and Keown gets rolled far too easy

Great quick strike from Cifti though. We ALWAYS seem to let ex old firm players have a major say agaisnt us :thumbsdown

This week last year a contingent of Partick Thistle fans shat their minds over St Johnstone doing the same at Firhill.

Plus ça change, plus c'est la même chose.

You’re obviously forgetting that we’re Scotland’s premier establishment club and cannot be relegated.

That’s what I was implying ;)

One of the great joys of being a football supporter is being hypocritical as fcuk!

Let's face it, Partick and Motherwell are direct products of the league they are in, where 100% focus is put into simply surviving each season.

Entertainment, nope.  Football, nope.

Just grim battles under leaden skies.
