Stranraer v East Fife

Recommended Posts

Starting this one nice and early!

Hoping for a better turnout at Stair Park given the form we're in and the feelgood factor which goes with it.

East Fife have won once in their last 9 games, but seem to be getting plenty of draws so a tight game could be on the cards.

Indeed. Easy home win!

Nothing to fear here. Move along.

Football is never that easy and either is playing east fife. As much as you boys are making it sound easy am sure this will be another tough game.

Fair play to Stranraer for battling on and picking up vital points despite having to sell your best players due to someone not being able to do their sums properly. If our manager and players showed the same passion and personal pride as you guys did we wouldn't be in the mess we are in just now. Get a couple of corners on Sat and it will be an easy 3 points against a clueless East Fife side managed by a hopeless rookie who is clearly out of his depth. [emoji90]

And that, just about sums it up.

Stranraer have the second best home record. East Fife have the second worst away record. Only looks like one possible outcome which doesn’t look good for us. However, both teams have changed a lot since they last met and with a number of players in this week it could come down to how quickly players get and integrate into the team (and how we defend  corners !)

Hopefully, players now realise that there is now competition for places and anyone not performing will be replaced. It also means players who are lacking in fitness or confidence can be rested rather than forced to play through it. Hopefully the manager gets his team and tactics right and players carry out their roles and responsibilities for the whole 90 minutes. A positive result is crucial if we are to push our way back to the fringes of the promotion play offs. Mon the Fife

A very, very welcome and much needed 3 points but can't say I am greatly surprised. After 2 deplorable performances against Brora and Forfar we come up trumps. This is what all we Fife supporters have come to expect.

Hope we build on this performance and play some decent football picking up points.  How did everyone play especially the new boys?????

can't wait to view the highlights.
