Wonder if the pitch will ever get time to recover with the amount of games still to be played there. Tynecastle and Lothian THV still have 14 league home games to complete between them and that's over 9 weekends. That doesn't include Cup games starting with Lothian Thistle's Wednesday night game against Vale of Leithen in the Football Nation Qualifying Cup semi final. That said Saughton backing-up happens every season... it only managed 4 games in December/January/February in comparison to 9 postponements (plus a further 3 in October-November). Overall it managed 24 games in the opening 7 months of the season, and has 17-22 games left for the closing 2.5 months. Nothing new in these levels.
