Hardly ever happens now, used to get as much as we liked, now my employers just hire dozens of temps so there's no need to. It's fucking shite. When I used to work, the last time I done overtime it was paid at time and a half on a Saturday up till noon then it was double time after that. Double time all day on a Sunday. Used to be quite willing to do it, but I was part time and constantly asking them to permanently increase my hours. Of course they refused, but offered overtime instead. f**k that. Used to be on unlimited overtime, working 8am till midnight, I was younger and could be arsed then though. So if you regularly work overtime, you end up pacing yourself so that you do the same amount of work as before but you just take longer to do it. I think that is true for a lot of office jobs.
