Nugent4nil
Does anyone have a list of the top scorers in this years competition? McKenzie at Arthurlie is currently on 9 goals from 5 games, he was suspended for one of the two replays played.
ex-german exile
Three of the top six favorites won't reach the quarter finals.

Aye the relative lack of big shocks meant something was due to give. Whatever way it pans out the quarter finals will still be strong.
ex-german exile
Agree, the Q/fans will be strong, but from a betting point of view i would expect the odds for the three who make the quarters to shorten dramatically. Therefore if you want value get a bet on now rather than later.

Owen Morgan
Would be great to have a good old fashioned senior ground for the final. Somerset, Cappillow, don't like Rugby Park or whatever Almondvale is known as now.
locheedfcno1
^^^agree about a different ground. My pick would be Arbroaths gayfield

Even the best junior grounds lack the facilities of the less modern Senior ones you mention but for some reason the Juniors must have the final in an oversized and sterile venue with a pishy artificial surface. FuzzyBear
Rob Roy v Linlithgow brings back memories of the game about 20 years ago when the Rob Roy player got sent off for kicking the ref in the bollox.

Even the best junior grounds lack the facilities of the less modern Senior ones you mention but for some reason the Juniors must have the final in an oversized and sterile venue with a pishy artificial surface. The reason is simple - the junior cup final is held too late in the season. Most clubs with grass surfaces have already re-turfed or re-seeded by that point. Nugent4nil
Just saw on Twitter that Wishaw think their game on Saturday is in serious doubt due to the weather conditions there, if so that will mean they have lost ten Saturdays due to Scottish ties being postponed. I know the weather hasn't been great but surely if the Scottish was taken out of December and January, where they had seven games off, they it would give a chance of fulfilling league fixtures. I doubt that a non all seater stadium would be considered in any case.
