Napoleon
Troon this morning. Very poor decision to call this game. It should have at least been given to this morning. img]https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180120/e024afefe0ee1ed61591f9ceabe5d698.jpg[/img]
Dreghorn
Dunbar is on the main A1. The joins the Edinburgh City bypass, the M8 then the M77/A77 then from Kilmarnock down to Irvine. No problems on any of these roads today. Well done Meadow. Should be a cracking game. Ardrossan and Troon should not have been put off yesterday causing clubs to cancel buses. Poor decision making at the top of the league. Well done also to Bonnyrigg committee and supporters for their efforts to get the game on. Just hope they don’t get a balloon of a referee who spots a 2 foot square of hard ground and puts the game off 15 minutes before kick off!

TheNauld
We haven’t had a home game since the 18th November apart from the Scottish cup replay, and since the beginning of the season we’ve only played 4 home games, albeit 2 were called off with the bad weather. We’ve still no word on a fixture for next week despite the only tie we can have being Meadow away. The way it is the earliest we can now have a home fixture is the 17th of March, how is the club meant to function without an income. Along with Meadow we have also played less games than the other teams so there’s no reason we couldn’t have had a home game fitted in, he’s set a precedence recently for a team that had a run of away games
morrow56
Irvine Vics, Saltcoats and Whitletts no game next week, yet all to play each other again this season- makes sense to arrange a fixture surely

We have been allocated 1 home fixture since the 18th November, that on the 13th January against Petershill which was postponed. Meanwhile KRR have 5 consecutive home games albeit 2 cup ties. If our 5 away games are all played we will be left with 3 away and 9 home games to complete our league programme

For example, if the majority of Newmains home games have been off so far, it stands to reason that they will have a number to play at home to catch up? A few weeks ago, from memory Lanark had 5 away and 1 at home scheduled. Now it is 4 away and 2 home. We were scheduled to play at Ashfield on 3/2 and presume the fixture has been reversed because of the work being done at Ashfield? For me it makes no odds. We play no better at home than we do away ( apart from on artificial surfaces where our record isn't so good) so our results don't get affected by where we are playing.

It's about income, it's about expenditure plus it's about wear and tear on the pitches. 7 home games for Kello or Newmains, for example, at this time of year would probably wreck the pitch for weeks. If they did actually manage to get them played that is.

Their pitch has suffered a number of call offs. 8 of their remaining 11 games are home fixtures. Their next 6 (not 7 as suggested) are scheduled to be at home which does seem a bit steep.

It’s about the income, not the fact that there is or isn’t any advantage. Scott Robertson should take that into account when he’s allocating the fixtures but never does. How are clubs meant to survive, the earliest we can have a home fixture now is the 17th March, it’s not rocket science to work out that clubs don’t run on fresh air

I’m not singling out Cumbernauld, I’m referring to the fact that there are several clubs in our situation where they have no income coming in yet the match sec seems oblivious to this point when allocating games
