lubo_blaha
Not sure how you lob a burning flare safely. So you would have a singing section, a flare lobbing section and a smoke bomb section. What would you do with the other half of our stadiums? I didn’t word it brilliantly. Let people use safe pyro in certain areas, instead of the current approach which clearly isn’t working. (For the record, I don’t condone the throwing of burning flares at children).Much like alcohol, it’s time to have a grown up conversation about accommodating those who want to use it in stadiums. http://stadiumdb.com/news/2017/07/effc_2017_different_approaches_to_legal_pyrotechnics

AngusTheBull
The BBC live text being cancelled halfway through a game due to a 96 year old dying is… quite something Edited September 8, 2022 by AngusTheBull
The Master
The same happened to the Arsenal live text to be fair. And one didn’t even start for Man Utd and West Ham. So not exclusive to an SFPL team.

True, but it’s still ridiculous when the games are going ahead.

Saying that the BBC's coverage of English games is tinpot too doesn't negate the tinpottery of the BBC's Scottish football coverage.
Jacky1990
Also doesnt make sense. The games still going on. People still want to know whats going on. The person who does the feed is still at work. Why? Granted, nothing about those Disney weirdos makes sense

I was pointing out, in the context of the thread, it wasn’t just the live text involving the Scottish team. You can’t accuse the Scottish - or English - football coverage of tinpottery if the instruction to stop the live text came from on high.
