Opening 19 November...honest men in bonnie sashes...

This is not the first time there was one of these in Ayr. If I recall correctly there was one near the old Woolworths about 20 years ago. It didn't last especially long before closing, so appropriately it is a zombie store for a zombie club.

About 20 years ago I was in Inverness visiting family and passed by the Celtic shop as some lad ran in, shouted 'RAAAAANGEEEEERRS' then ran back out again. We walked by a couple of hours later and saw the same lad try to swagger across the road , expecting traffic to screech to a halt for him, only for a car to just plough into him.

Was class.

There used to be a Celtic store in Stirling inside the Thistle Centre. Shut down in 2016.

There apparently still is one in somewhere called "The Centre" in Livingston. Which was a surprise to me  because I thought Livingston was outskirts all the way through

They briefly tried opening Celtic and Rangers stores in Edinburgh and, seemingly blind to the concept of hubris, chose expensive, up market locations in Frederick Street and George Street.

Those sites are now a gentlemen's tailors and the Le Creuset store both of which make far more sense at those addresses

I was delighted when they closed. Unsightly bleamishes on the streets of our beautiful city.

Used to enjoy taking a pish on the Rangers shop in Inverness the few times me and some friends stayed over before and after Pars games. Very juvenile behaviour.

If I remember right, the rangers shop on the main bit in Inverness (past pedo Kim and his dodgy trinkets) was right next to the orange shop

“Just heading down to the orange shop…. then after that I’ll pop next door to get my phone contract sorted. “
