What's the most "Tin Pot" thing you've seen in the SPFL

The vast majority of Old Firm fans haven't seen the inside of a church in decades.

Funeral last month, chief.

And the “Old Firm” is as dead as the guy whos funeral I attended.

Like a lot of other words it was once acceptable and innocuous but the way language evolves and times change most people don't use it now and accept that it's now evolved and rightly considered a sectarian term.

The people going out of their way to defiantly use it come across as edge lords. It's really not that hard to regulate your vocabulary to not use hate speech.

"Cant even sing ba ba black sheep" for this pish...

Sorry, this just doesn’t pass the smell test in the slightest. It’s just nonsense.

The "old firm" is very much alive. Both clubs feed of the hatred.

It seems obvious but no one benefits from rangers more than Celtic. They’ll never realise it though.

That's fair enough for you to decide you're okay with using sectarian language.
The rules of the forum are quite clear on the matter and it can be filed in the same bracket as people that are defiant and proud to go to "the chin**** or the pa** shop"
Fucking hell man.

Legally, according to the lame brained definition put in law by the Scottish government, possibly.

In reality and morally, nah.

Rangers fans should be shunned, it's a question of decency

Not even legally.

Nil By Mouth recognise it is sectarian but they are a charity and don't get to make the rules.

It is in NI so maybe the **** can go there and live in peace and safety.

Given the classic 'William's Lads' ditty (I've renamed that in case I get accused of sectarianism for using the term 'B**ly' btw) was predictably sung at both the Europa League and Scottish Cup finals recently - with no repercussions natch - it's wild to see any Rangers fan trying to take the moral high ground on this issue. If you genuinely care about calling out sectarian language, start with your own pathetic fanbase please.

Same goes for Celtic fans too. Clean up your own house before starting the whataboutery.

Did Rangers fans not used to call themselves **** before they were told they can't call Celtic fans ****** and that's when they decided it was offensive

The same way that Celtic fans used to call themselves both the names they're now offended by.

It's happening the world over. Change is good and should be accepted.

How very homophobic

🤔

I was thinking more in terms of big hairy, unthinking, vicious beasts who probably don't smell wonderful up close.
