Whilst always a difficult decision to change the club’s manager, there are a number of factors which the board have reviewed before arriving at this conclusion. Amongst these includes the club’s results throughout the past year and the overall progression of playing squad in the Lowland League since we were relegated. 8th July 2021 Dunbar United Football Club can confirm that we have parted company with manager Geoff Jones. It was an incredibly difficult decision for the Board to change the club’s manager ahead of our third season in the East of Scotland Premier League, particularly a manager with such a long and successful career with the club. There are several factors which the board have reviewed before arriving at this conclusion. The tweet went out an hour ago and he is already moaning on twitter suggesting he is having a busy evening. I'm not expecting the technical sophistication of silicon valley here but SURELY a professional football club in 2021 have a better system than asking one guy to answer 1500-2000 ish emails in 2 days. Just rename this the "what tin pot nonsense have ross county done today" thread.
