Unleash The Nade
Pretty sure there was a thread on this ages ago but can’t find it . Anyway , the wife and I were given a Tefal soup maker for Xmas, which I didn’t see the point of as all you need is a big pot. Have to admit I’m now a total convert. Delicious soups ready in under 20 minutes and a dawdle to use What’s your favourite kitchen gadget thingy ?

Sergeant Wilson
Just now, bennett said: I never even knew that such a thing existed. It's a cross between a pressure cooker and a kettle. They are good.

smpar
Got my folks one of those coffee machines where you put the wee pods in. Easy to use, no clean-up involved and some of the coffees are pretty good, even though I’m not a big coffee drinker by any stretch of the imagination. Got a hand blender as well that does the same as a food processor but is 100X easier to clean.

supermik
Not an essential but by Christ it is a great bit of kit. You can, with a little bit of practice, leave the pineapple body still intact and use it as drinking cup. The grandkids love drinking from them. Also good for putting cocktails in.

There's always that brief moment of terror, replaced with life affirming elation when you get away with another one without redecorating your undercrackers, isn't there?

I had to move quickly when I was having a pish in a cubicle. A spin and garment removal in one movement to save the day.
