Pretty sure the top image is from a concert by The Who at Celtic Park in the 1970's.

It was in 1976 and was pretty much an all day event, which I was at. The Who, The Sensational Alex Harvey Band, Little Feat, Streetwalkers and I think another couple of bands which I can’t remember. Brilliant day.

Steve 'Everlasting Love' Ellis was there with Widowmaker. Streetwalkers were close enough to Family to be a good live band too.

Cheer’s DH, those were the two bands I was searching my memory for.

Awesome photo, quick question for the Dons fans though. Do you think the fans on the top of the stand would’ve seen the goal below due to the pitch angle of the roof?

Not or only just?

Wish we could get away with that at football nowadays.

10th May 2003. Last ever league match at Brockville Stadium.

We lost 3-2 to ICT but had already won the league.

One of my most emotional days ever at a football match.

Joe Gilroy was a PE teacher at my school in the late 70s and was manager of Queens Park at the time - he took one of the guys in my year to play for them while still at school.

I think he later emigrated to Australia.

Hard to tell tbh. I'd be happy just to stand unmolested at a  game never mind sit on the roof.

Tubby Ogston and Ally Shewan. Is that Charlie Cooke in the middle? The other Don is too far away for my eyes to make out.
