That was surely before Ferguson told him he was dropped for Uruguay game for taking Rangers job

I've seen this claim on here before.  It's absolute nonsense.

Souness was unveiled as manager of Rangers in April 1986.  Why would Ferguson drop him for only the 3rd match of 3 in June, if that was the reason?

This pic is defo not the before the 1974 Scotland V England game. The fan  holding the paper far left is wearing the shirt that Scotland wore for the 1978 World Cup  in Argentina. That strip came out a few later maybe 1977? Defo not worn in the 74 game.

Yes, my guess would be the 1976 game where Dalglish put it through Clemence's legs.  It could be even later though.

I could probably google this, but there will be someone on here that knows. When did scottish football do away with having 2/3 replays for cup ties? My dad talks about them quite often and older guys at my work do as well, but when i started watching football in the late 80s, it was always extra time and penalties.

Last tie to have gone to more than one replay seems to have been a New Firm Fourth Round tie in 1988/89. 1-1 at Pittodrie, same score at Tannadice. United won one-nil, again at home, in the second replay.

They were gone by the season after. Stranraer winning at Kilmarnock on penalties after both games finished level in the Second Round the first game to be affected. Can't find any video.

Great Tapestry of Scotland has this in its window. I'm quite taken by each of these strips. They don't make them like that anymore etc.

Hibs v. Motherwell - two replays , the first                                        of which featured Pat Stanton's incredible diving header. The second replay did not go the right way tho' !

Seems we're wasting our time celebrating our 150th Anniversary on December 23rd this year.  1879 ?  Who made this thing ?

30 years too late but I had a double of Kane and Beedie so you could have completed Hibs.

If a butterfly's wings can cause a hurricane I dare not think how my life might have turned out with a completed Hibs page !

Rummaging around I found these two on my hard drive from 2016

That's Morrisons on Hope Street, isn't it. I still maintain Falkirk should have made every attempt to stay in that part of town, a huge area which could easily have housed a bigger ground to that they are now in, while leaving space for other lucrative trade ventures (to the club).

But it appears the custodians didn't trust their potential and business sense enough.
