Drew Brees
Makes that protest even more stupid then.Is 8 guys considered a protest?

I would say that that is a protest, mainly because there is no way that only 8 of the Green Brigade would be able to get the spelling of every word on the banner correct. There were a lot more involved.

We had just defeated Chile 4-2 in Santiago. This game in Buenos Aires ended 1-1 Don Masson penalty and Daniel Passarella penalty equaliser for them. Willie Johnson was sent off for retaliation. Maradona is in this one from 1979 when Argentina won 3-1 at Hampden. Was at the game that day, I think it was the brightest the sun ever shone at a match in Scotland.
Dundee Hibernian
The two Tannadice Street teams have played on the same day more often than might be imagined, over 30 times. The last time I recall was on Boxing Day 2012, United against St Johnstone at noon, and Celtic v Dundee in the evening for live coverage. Wondering if I've forgotten a more recent clash. Most of the fixture clashes were Scottish Cup ties, with a few league games too more recently.

Me too. My main recollection was that it was very hot and Scotland couldn't get the ball, which pissed everybody off. In those days Scotland were routinely expected to win at Hampden, even against World Champions

They truly are up their own arse that lot. Self-important, self-indulgent gob-shites. Fab use of the full stop to highlight their intellect.
