Saints at Recreation Park Alloa.

I live about 100 yards from that ground now.

I still have nightmares about the 7-0 hosing Stirling Albion got there in 1998....😱, I left at four.....

Only 'stadium' I know that has had a rake of money spent improving it but is considerably worse than it was previously, and that was pretty poor at that. Fucking abysmal place to watch football now, awful plastic pitch, crap views behind each goal and a shitey, horrendous gazebo stand that leaks every time it rains, fucking dump.

For some reason I really like photos of footballers smoking. Not Scottish, so I wont add them, but Johann Cruyff and especially Jack Charlton were relaxed about been photographed with a fag. in their kit!!

I met Kenny Burns when I was about 5 and shyly asked for an autograph.  He acquiesced, so long as I held his pint and cigarette while he did it.

Billy McPhail is the Celtic forward challenging the Partick Thistle goalkeeper in the 1950's at Firhill

I'm pretty sure the Terrace in the background is now the unused grassy knoll.

Before it was transferred to Dallas.

Instead of challenging for the ball McPhail should have been defending his.

2,000 attendance - they really did take the piss at times.

I was at that match. Changed ends at half time of course.

20,000 would have been nearer the mark. Scottish Cup game, IIRC

ETA: 12000 attendance according to AFC Heritage. Looks more imho.
