Not sure of the Norwegian challenging CH but the guy out of focus in the background looks like Vidar Riseth who signed for Celtic a few months later. I was at that game. The only thing I can remember about it though is having the feeling that we were out! Scotland fans drank the entire City drank dry that day......even the cooking wine! Slept on a bench in Bordeaux train station that night.

What the photo doesn't show is the pishing rain. A young TTB sat on the uncovered bench seats in the Cooshed and got soaked. The only other thing I can remember about the game is Tortolano halving Wee Gordon and getting dismissed. Or “Tortolanoyab*****d” as he was affectionately known to the Hibs fans. Eednud
Dundee down under in 1972. This is from game in Sydney where they beat New South Wales 6-1. About 6 or 7 of the NSW team played made the Australian squad for the 1974 World Cup, including Dundee born Jimmy Rooney, ex Lochee United and Montrose. Peter Wilson the NSW captain was also Australia's captain John Duncan scored a hat trick, the other Dundee player is and Iain Phillip.
