Playing at Maryhill this season but will move back to Holm Park as joint tenants with Yoker, following the redevelopment which started last week.

Unsure what will happen next season as far as on the field matters go. We did vote to move the club into the EOS league as it would provide a path into the senior leagues, but with ongoing chat about the West region signing up to the pyramid I think it’s currently a case of wait and see.

Looking good for the short term future. Having a permanent ground sorted and being able to build with that base is definitely a huge positive for us.

I didn't know you were at Loch Park- great pint of Tennent's in the Social Club but it was a right swampy pitch when BSC shared with Maryhill!

This season only, as we knew the renovation work was going to be carried out at some point. I think  Yoker are now sharing with the Vale, but not 100% on that.

Sadly I haven't made a game there this season. Each time I have been home we have either been away, or the match has been cancelled. Shame really, as the social club there is a good wee set up.

Yoker are ground sharing with St Antonys. Played one game sharing with Benburb at New Tinto Saturday that just went.

Colin Hendry heads clear in the 1-1 draw v Norway at France 98, the last tournament we qualified for, Craig Burley with the Scotland equaliser that day also being the last goal we scored at a major tournament.  Not sure of the Norwegian challenging CH but the guy out of focus in the background looks like Vidar Riseth who signed for Celtic a few months later.

He got the Norwegian goal as I recall. A diving header at the back post I believe that actually put them ahead. We definitely had enough to win that game but just couldn't get a second.

Also that Scotland strip

Older Hibees may remember attending this game:

Big Fat Gordon Rae's testimonial against Manchester United. What the photo doesn't show is the pishing rain. A young TTB sat on the uncovered bench seats in the Cooshed and got soaked. The only other thing I can remember about the game is Tortolano halving Wee Gordon and getting dismissed. I think everyone is thinking "another McClair shot going over, how does he get caps for Scotland?!"

Gordon Rae went on to play for Partick and Meadowbank and managed Gala Fairydean and Edinburgh City. He was manager when City beat Shire in the Scottish Cup (it was kind of a big deal for City fans!).

Obscure fact:   Gordon's father Adam Rae won the Scottish Junior Cup with Dunbar United in 1961.
