The Alsatian  would be called Rex or Prince. All schemie Alsatians in the 70s/80s were called Rex or Prince.

That one was probably called Blondi.

I didn't know Eva Braun had a Scottish terrier. Next time I see an old bat with one of those horrible hairy yappy wee things I'll say "Nazi dug"...

Ahh yes. Wee Eva from the 8th floor. I remember her. Nobody liked her creepy friend though. Used to play tap-door-run on him.

Paul McStay and John Collins tussle in the 1989 Scottish Cup semi-final while Peter Grant looks on flat on his arse, note Celtic and Hibs both playing in their normal kits, as they had done for virtually every fixture between the clubs till kit companies and commercial departments started encouraging 2nd and even 3rd kits to be maximised for selling purposes.

Celtic won 3-1 with goals from Mick McCarthy, Mark McGhee and Andy Walker with Steve Archibald netting in reply for Hibs in a match played the day after the Hillsborough disaster.

Hibs' normal kit wasn't green shorts. Otherwise correct.

Top work.

I take it the bit that refers to the strip should read "white shirts" as opposed to "white shorts".

I wonder why they introduced it, or if they wore it again.  I'm still intrigued by the badge as well.

Superb work sir. Mr Flanagan it indeed was. Just know the face from old Saints pics. Didn't realise he was as slight as he appears.

Like Monkey Tennis I find the badge intriguing.  No mention in the piece of it being different from normal or new, like the strip, and no sign of it in this historical line up ...

It's a wee bit like third from the left top row.

From a penalty, Allan McGraw scores the only goal of the game in the Morton v Hibs 1963 League Cup semi final replay at Ibrox.
