You wouldn't want to mess with the Peaky Blinders guy on the far left. Looks like he might have a good reason to not want to be photographed  - and like he is about to tell the photographer where he will stick the camera if he takes another shot !

Great link!

This is a thing of absolute beauty! 84/85 season...... memories of Platini & Boniek!

Sure the original one of that shirt was £500 on classic football shirts a while back.

Dundee United some time in 1966 pinched from the Tully's Blether with Brown. Think that's Jimmy Briggs standing and Dennis Gillespie, kneeling with fags in hand and is it Billy Hainey blowing a puff of smoke? Think that's Doug Smith at the back the Briggs, ??, Wing, Sandy davie, Hainey? Seemann, Wilson Wood?, Gillespie, Ian Mitchell?

And a couple of bonus Adidas adverts:

TBF Hibs did have a few decent Adidas kits at the time, but they were spoilt somewhat by that 'new' badge. Had quite a few Hibs mates who didn't like it at all. That sweatshirt John Collins is in reminds me of a pair of White/Green/Black Adidas Lendl's from circa 91-92 ish time.

That badge is horrific.

It's actually permanently in the stadium as a cut out of one of the bits of steelwork on the FF. You can see it if you walk along past the ticket office.

Awful.

Celtic captain for the day, in the absence of the injured Billy McNeil, Tommy Gemmell shakes hands with Rangers counterpart John Greig before the new year fixture at Ibrox in 1971. A day and match that was to have tragic consequences with the loss of 66 lives on stairway 13 after the game.

It's intriguing me that there is no number on the back of the shirt but on the back of the shorts instead. What's the reasoning behind this?

sure it was purely because of the hoops stopping the number standing out. i know thats why the celtic european shirts have a solid white back
