Saturday 30th March 1985 got hit by torrential rain. Of full 19-game league program only Aberdeen, Ayr, Hamilton and QotS survived plus reserve league OF derby (was it hastily arranged?). EDIT: Rearrangement on Wednesday 1st May ended 1-1 (despite Rangers having 9-men), confirming Aberdeen as champions, and was followed by the "Battle of Janefield Street" rioting and mounted police charges.
