Buffs v Glenafton.   Don't know how bad the linesmen were but the referee was the worst I have ever seen.   I hope that there is some video posted on P&B so that it can be referred to the SJFA Referee's Authority.    He repeatedly and wrongly over-ruled his linesmen.     When Latta and Adam Strain and the Glenafton forward all challenged for a free ball in the box there was no foul from any player yet the referee saw a penalty and also gave a red card.   I was in the covered stand immediately behind the goal with a high and clear view and at first thought the Glenafton forward slid into Latta, but no one was at fault.    Towards the end of the game a Glenafton defender was shepherding a slow moving ball towards the bye line and Bryan Boylan curled his foot around the ball when it was still 10 inches inside the field of play and flicked it against the defender to win a corner yet immediately the referee wheeled away at speed pointing to the goal kick line with a huge grin on his mug which was still there when he reached the halfway line.   The impression I got was he was actually enjoying some sort of revenge.  Disgraceful.  He should be ashamed.  The linesmen should refuse to work with him in the future.  It was Tommy Maitland who headed from  the corner kick against the post, it looked to be going in, big let off for Glenafton.   Both teams  cancelled each other out and Buffs  did well without Pettigrew at Centre Half but they missed McGuinness' s composure in midfield although he did well in the back row

Really surprised at this, Kilbirnie are a decent side so the margin of victory is a shock

Was it 11 v 11 ?

Or is it just Talbot hitting form.

Kilbirnie played some very good football.

Kilbirnie leftback Ross Mckinnon who was one of their best players, got sent off midway through the 2nd half for bringing down Jamie Glasgow on the 18yd line.

At times Talbots passing & movement was sensational.

Should be a good game in 3 weeks time, when Talbot visit Newlandsfield.

Blasties had a man sent off in the second half for denying a goal scoring opportunity. That was at 1-0

Three late goals may have skewed the result slightly but we were worthy of the 3 points I would say

Was n,t there but Kilbirnie left-back Mckinnon sent off at 1-0, heard Talbot would have won anyway

Hopefully should, we have picked up a few injuries in this last week, players we really need fit for a game like Talbot.

But before we worry about that Rossvale and Then Hurlford come first and the only games that count just now.

How many fatalities today? Career ending injuries? Cuts from shaving after the game?

If a Park is dangerous or unfit to play on, the referee will call the game off.
Credit to both teams today for playing some good football

Took in the Cumnock game today. Not a fan of artificial surfaces but was impressed with the new set up. Girvan looked off the pace due to lack of games recently although I was impressed with auld the right back. Youngster at left back was exposed and looked out his depth. Despite Cumnock bossing the second half, girvan might have equalised at 2-1 when their effort was cleared off the line only for Cumnock to go up the park and score. Cumnock substitutions were made at the right time and won them the game. Hard to judge girvan on this performance due to their long lay off but Cumnock looked a competent team .
