Whatever they are paying do the Jambos think it’s coming directly from the clubs budge-t or do you think this could be another anonymous donation to lend a helping hand? Heard anything from £7,500 to £10k. Sold a young lad and the Jamie the *** for enough of a wedge that for the six months we're still comfortably quids in. Why would he need to save face, paying £10K or even £8.5K a week for any player in the Scottish league is utter madness. Especially for a team that isn’t Celtic. If and it’s a big if Killie got him for say 2 grand a week on a 3 year retirement deal that would be ok but Hearts are chucking £150 grand plus on a player till the end of the season. Crazy. He’s cashing in this season, getting 25K off Norwich and 8K off the Jambos. When the contract at Norwich ends in the summer he’ll be back home in his newly build Stewarton home and back at his beloved Killie for a 2K a week 3 year deal with a coaching job at the end. Isn't it more like £150k? So essentially the Naismith fee till the end of the season. That's forgetting the £300k for Walker, the £350k for the kid we sold to Brighton, the money-spinning Scottish Cup derby, and any Benjamins wee Caspian Primrose throws our way. I think it was Naismith himself. He probably was quite happily ok with the idea of coming home and seeing out the last couple of years of his career at Killie with a coaching job with Steve Clarke at the end of it.
