Stellaboz
Being on the pitch at Cappielow was brilliant. I've seen us win the first division twice, the other time was at home against Airdrie in 96 when I was 9. Went with my dad and uncle who were both Jambos, they were loving it. Was at the Brechin game when we won League One slightly unexpectedly, was furiously trying to get Cowden on my bet365 account on my phone at kick off but it wouldn't work, lost out on a small fortune! AyrshireTon
We won the old 1st division at Broomfield in 1987. The atmosphere went from tears 'n' snotters in the away end (there were rumours that Dunfermline were 3-1 up at Montrose and about to overtake us) to elation when the truth came through (it was actually 1-0 to Montrose). One of those "we did everything but score" games. Pitch invasion as players were mobbed on their way to the pavillion. On the STV clip below (around the 5:55 mark, just before it cuts to Allan McGraw's interview) you can just see the police suddenly up their pace when they realise some of Section B casuals had decided to come onto the pitch as well.
