For the size of town and healthy population,Cumnock have easily the worst support in the west junior area.It must demorolise the Cumnock team to run down from the carbuncle dressing rooms only to see a vast sea of gold and black, stretching the full length of the park, then looking around at pockets of people in black and white that could hold a party in a telephone box.It almost gives Talbot a goal of a start in these matches.Until the people of Cumnock start to pay their £6 and give support to their team and improve the clubs finances to attract better players, then another twenty years in their illustrious neighbours shadow  beckons.

Should be a good crowd at this??? 1k?

Not sure if there will even be that , the fixture has fell away a good bit due to Talbot's dominance , back in the 90s for example this game would be between 2000 and 3000 .

That’s got more to do with the decline in Scottish football, and in particular the Juniors, than Talbot’s dominance.

Agreed although the fixture has fell away too with Talbot's dominance to a certain extent , been very one way the last good while.

who do you want to win roket? and what did you like about the game, last time out.always interested how non natives view the derby even though its not as fierce as it once was.
Would like best team on day to win(doesn't all ways happen in fitba) Fanyastic crowd and atmosphere. Fitba is more a religion in Ayrshire. Doin ma family tree and have folk from Auchinleck Cumnock and New Cumnock way back. Also won there as a coach a few years back.

The national news mentioned Ayrshire getting the worst of the weather today so that picture isn't likely to improve.

Its a very nice picture, would be a pity to spoil that pristine snow cover by running around chasing a ball!

wish Talbot would nip in to bring Davie Gormley back now that he wants to  leave Clyde, could be the difference that would guarantee silverware at beechwood.
Yesterdays man. The team we have are doing well and gelling. why put someone else in who would upset the karma of the team. Great player the last time he played for us but he would not be suited now.
