Champions elect V Playoff chasing Ayr

Don't know if this has been responded to but Robbie Crawford is our best central midfielder, Docherty pulls the strings and Geggan gives us some bite and some midfield goals. If we had two out the three of them available today, I'd be confident of winning.

Spence tried some sort of awful banter with Ruddy today at free kicks that had absolutely no effect. Had McDaid been more clinical either finishing or finding a guy squared it was our game

Cheers for the response.  With this sort of game both sides can deal in hypothetical scenarios. Vaughan fired a shot past the post in the first half, we had a ball which went right across goal too which nobody got onto. Those along with a Davo effort and one of the Ayr players almost knocking in an own goal.

Also, loving suggestions Smith was raging and unwilling to do an interview for AU media. As Shaughan said, he's notorious for being difficult to interview and often leaves that side of the job to coaches like Cuthbert and Robertson. Can't really recall him doing any special interviews for other clubs aside from general media scrums.

Even still, you've got the audio for it, so count yourselves lucky...

Got a luscious head of hair for a man his age though. That's probably where all his confidence comes from.

I'm pretty sure that Sigmund Freud never cast an eye over someone with a full head of hair and declared, 'no fucking way is this guy a nut job'

I expect both sides will be happy enough with that. If we even get 4 points from our games in hand we'll be in a very strong position while Ayr will feel that with a game against us at their ground to come that they are still well in the hunt.

The last 15 minutes or so was nerve wracking stuff. I enjoyed the niggle as well, nothing wrong with a bit of spice to a title battle.

Still plenty of twists and turns to come no doubt. Bring it on!

You’ve spent all evening slavering guff on here, I’m not sure you’re in a position to judge.

Your team came to kick us off the park, and your manager was absolutely seething for no reason at all.  The lack of class didn't come from our side.

Went with a couple of Rovers fans today so was sat in the Raith end. In the first half each time Ruddy had the ball Spence was right in his face trying to provoke him like the school bully. By all means highlight Ayr’s tactics but Spence was no better than the behaviour you criticise.

Ruddy was weak in respect of his attention by Spence, IMO Spence was lenient, your new keeper deserved to have been pressured more.

Raiths defence were pish and the midfield wasn't, the midfield contained us pretty well but the defence didn't, there is no contradiction

Doesn,t say much for your team/ forwards who only  managed the one goal and very few other opportunities against  a pish defence
