Scotland Centre Backs

Jack Hendry is one of the players who will miss the next match if booked in the game against Denmark. Should that happen who would be the best choice as a replacement should that happen in the absence of McTominay? Gallagher or Hanley are the centre backs that typically play on the right hand side but their strengths don't really match Hendry in a similar way that Cooper doesn't fully replace Tierney.

The other players walking the suspension tightrope apparently are Christie, Dykes, Hanley, Nisbet and O'Donnell.

Get them all booked if possible, cause Moldova are gash and you don't want anyone missing more important games.

Except O'Donnell

How have Oostende managed to buy him for €1.5m and flip him for €10m within two months?

IIRC a loan to buy deal initially, for €1.5 million, so at the end of the season took Celtic up on the offer (I think for there record transfer fee), with the intention of perhaps selling for more anyway.

Jason Kerr off to League 1 with Wigan. Hard to see him getting called up from there.

It's frustrating to see promising and established players (Kerr and Christie) potentially moving to pish clubs. Money trumps international football I'm afraid

Christie going to a top Championship club is fine - they want to dominate possession in that league and he's still playing at a good standard. It's arguably better for his game than playing for Burnley. Kerr going to League 1 seems like a bit of a waste though - there must surely have been Championship interest.

That's a great move for Hendry. Tough tasks ahead in that Champions League group but can only benefit him longer term.

He could've been destroyed by that spell at Celtic but he looks to have done well for himself since. That speaks very positively to his mindset.

I still need to see more before I am won over by him as a Scotland international quality player but he's on an upward trajectory in his club career.
