What’s going on in Iran these days?

Reports of a bunch of people shot but nothing in the media.

Does it need Donny T to go in and sort them out?

I think we should definitely take people like John McCain (who sang a song about bombing Iran) at face value over these protests.

A couple of hundred people at a time, spread around the country. Sounds like well coordinated cooperation between outside actors and internal subversives using social media to stir it up. The US, Saudis, Sunni minorities, pissed off youth, persecuted Bahais? Who knows. No doubt GCHQ and the NSA have been helping it along though. Must be a lot of Iranians fed up with high unemployment while the government are spending a fortune on the proxy war with Saudi Arabia in Syria and Yemen and funnelling  shed loads of cash and weaponry to Hezbollah in Lebanon.

BBC 2 are running a decent series on Saudi Arabia; what's evident from the programme is the hatred Saudi (sunni) and Iran (shia) have for each other.

I’m taking time out of university to join Hezbollah.

I was going to run for Hezbollah in the University President election with the slogan, "We promise to keep Terry Waite chained to a radiator." Bottled it though.

Fucking Islam!  You’d never get two branches of Christianity hating each other.

“nowadays” you take that back.

It's been a while since they blew up any foreign occupiers peacekeepers

I quite like their flag but unsure how a t-shirt would go down locally.
