History aside, Methil has a population of around 11,000, Kirkcaldy 50,000 give or take the odd beggar.

East Fife average attendance 700, Raith Rovers 1750.

Given both teams are in the same division would it be prudent to question whether part time East Fife are punching above their weight or that a full time Raith Rovers are just utter dross?

Go figure.

Both probably! But it doesn’t change the fact that we are second top with 2 games in hand.

Your comparing Attendances ? One of the most consistent teams that finish in the top 6 in the SPFL have probably one of the lowest average attendances St Johnstone ! So really i can’t see where your going with your argument .

Think your problem lies with a lack of ambition of the East Fife board and no one is interested within the Levenmouth area in East Fife, like wise with the Rovers but on a larger scale interns of population! So Steve Fife it’s irrelevant regarding punters we are just one of the better teams on top of a pile of Sh**e

Absolutely nothing routine about our away form....

That's not entirely fair...it's been routinely shite for about 18 months!

New Year, new Roverz xx

But aye, past form makes this by no way straightforward. But im hoping Arbroath was a bit of a turning point in our away form.

How many games have we lost this season so far and how many away games have we lost. The answer to both is the same. Just 2. So away form cant be that bad can it.

Ayr, Albion Rovers and Arbroath have all picked up more points than us away from home this season. In Ayr's case, they've picked up nine more points on the road than ourselves which is significant, while Arbroath and Albion Rovers are part-time.

In relative terms, I'd say that's reasonably poor.

To be honest, you still get the same 3 points if you win at home or away. Ayr have played 2 more away games than ourselves. We’ve played a game less at home to Ayr and have a 100% record. They have 7 less points than us from their games at Somerset.

Having a brilliant record at Starks Park is a refreshing change.

We've only played one fewer away game than Ayr, but aye, the home record is brilliant so far.

Of course we need to win away from home but its the overall picture that counts. Just 2 defeats out of 17 games played and a goal total of plus 24 aint that bad by any standards.  Whats the stats. won 12 drawn 3 lost 2. By any standards that bloody good.

Aye just saw that, was getting mixed up with the overall 2 games in hand.

We’ll win the league though. It’s fine.
