It's a much better pub than Middletons or Mash Tun imo but with the away buses being parked nearby it'll always be a bit livelier. Those boys you spoke to you wouldn't have given you any problems and am glad you they showed you a place you preferred. Hope you had a good time out near the ground. No problem mate, there was no sign of trouble whatsoever and we had a good laugh with the guys in there. Middletons is a bit of a dump but it was full of killie fans.
