David W
Marsh scored 7 goals from midfield in the season we lost the playoff final (maybe played centre half about twice that season). His touch and awareness was non existent and he's not really a passer of the ball but he's a fit lad and can cover some amount of ground. Obviously decent in the air. Did a great job doubling up on the likes of Easton and Linn in games.
Reecesfc
overall a very exiting game which could have been put to bed in the early stages but was kept as a low score courtesy of Callum Antell In the City net It was interesting seeing marsh playing in midfeild when we were moving forward but it looked like he dropped back into cb when we were defending it was also nice to see goals back on the score sheet today as i mentioned before he could have scored more if it wasnt for Antell being in great form Paton's goal was a excellent worked move and wont be topped at this level all credit going to alan cook who made both goals now all heads turning to the midweek game vs cowdenbeath which is a must win

Ayrshire-SFC
Very good game all in today, firstly can I say that the city fans were excellent and hospitable. They were a testament to their club. A well clutched win, almost blew it away giving away a stupid penalty. Fortunately Farid skied it. Also credit it Farid. When he accidentally caught Ruairdh’s head he showed genuine concern and remorse and you could tell he felt awful about it. No like the lads that walk away and don’t care. We played well and should’ve been out of sight in the first half. But we got it, 3 points. Onwards to cowden on Tuesday night.
beaver1
It was a typical Stenhousemuir match yesterday but with a subtle twist. We got points we didn’t deserve. We were much the better team 1st half and only the Edinburgh keeper kept the score down. 2nd half was a different story and Edinburgh will feel aggrieved not to have taken a point. The penalty was hilarious but was the bit of luck we haven’t been getting, so we’ll take it.Paton continues to impress. His goal was great and he followed it up later with another shot the keeper saved. Slight worry that he went off injured. Hopefully nothing serious. Keeping him fit and available to us will have a bearing on how this season pans out.

Reecesfc
Harry Paton was dropped for the Annan game a week ago because of a calf injury so he wont be fully recovered he done well for the time that he was on the pitch overall a excellent recruitment for the team Also Mcguigan had to get subbed of a minute before the end hopefully its nothing to serious if we have players injured for Tuesdays game away to Cowdenbeath it will be a good chance for players that haven't been getting a lot of game (Gilmour,Murray,Allan) To earn a starting place in the team

cowdenbeath
Went over to this on Saturday as I had nothing else to do and hadn't seen a game since the end of November. Game pretty much summed up by others Stenny could have been further ahead but for a couple of good saves from Antell in the 1st half. Second half City would feel unlucky not to have grabbed an equaliser, terrible penalty which would have been more fitting further along the road at Stew/Mel rugby ground while Chris Smith, who had almost nothing to do for most of the afternoon, had to pull off a couple of decent saves late on. Thought someone would have mentioned the lack of toilets at the ground on Saturday, the usual ones were closed due to frozen pipes?, and you had to use ones in the changing rooms. Excellent programme from Alick once again even saw myself in one of the pics from the Cowden game (not one of Tam's pics but one taken by the other guy).
