A club that refuses to learn its lesson and accept its place in the food chain. We’ve been here before, when they had the opportunity to appoint an experienced, sensible coach who would make gradual improvements with the resources available, allowing them to maybe finish second and occasionally challenge for cups. Instead, they appointed Pedro Caixinha in the hope this wildcard would be the next Jose Mourinho, with the delusions in mind that they may catch Celtic, who are out of their stratosphere. What a fucking disaster that was, and they’re heading there again, with the appointment of a celebrity to feed their bizarre notion of supremacy and the desperation to pretend that they are still a big club. Let’s be clear. Over the last 50 years, Rangers won the title 4 times without the help of limitless loans from the Bank of Scotland, never to be re-paid, and the EBT scheme which saw them cheat the taxman to pay the highest wages in Europe at one stage. They’ve now appointed someone with zero experience with the mandate to overhaul an awful squad, with next to no money. The club meanwhile operates at a loss as it is, needing soft loans to survive and are still unable to see Celtic for dust. All the while more smoke and mirrors press 'rumours' of 'fresh investment' that reek of Jabba and his Level 5 PR pish. Yet, these lunatics are all celebrating like mad. Delighted at this staggeringly short-sighted throw of the dice by a board that has demonstrated it knows nothing about football. See when this all goes pear-shaped in 6 months and these clowns are saying that they ‘deserve better’, tell them to f**k up. The most subservient and gullible support football has ever seen. They cheered in Green, White, Pedro and many more beside. Wasn’t long ago that they were all gripped with ‘Murty-Mania’. They deserve every last bit of the pain and the suffering heading their way.
