Oakley already have a set of training lights so they already have pylons so that probably makes sense.

They have them on telegraph poles like the had at Brocville.

Off topic but the groundhopper blog came across as a right w****r.

In what way?

He was really patronising making out there was only crowd at the Haws game with Lithgae due to his circus.

Also a bit of a patronising comment about the Haws catering.

All in all an attention seeking baw bag.

Eh? He basically said the opposite of that.

"The fact is that groundhoppers made up less than half of the attendance here" i.e. most people were not from his "circus" unlike other games.

He said he smiled at the club's reaction to doing anything other than pies and said it was similar to England with their burgers.

Interesting one from Fauldhouse Utd just posted applying for planning permission for floodlights

Let there be light.

A very significant project - not cheap, they’re engaging a firm of top specialists.  Well done to the club management.

Good Stuff from Fauldhouse.

The cynic in me says I hope they attract the Parkview midges and keep them away from spectators!

Maybe the should get a few dozen fly zappers they have in take away shops, instead of lights.

Ach, you don't need council handouts. You own your own ground.

Out of interest how many do actually own their grounds?

Was a talking point wi the lads when we went to Dunbar the other week.
