Burnie_man
Not EoS but affecting it (maybe), no sign of cover yet at Bonnyton, or disabled cover, or accesible toilets (any toilets in fact apart from inside the building) etc. There is what looks to be a disassembled temporary stand stacked up behind a goal and may have been there for a while, but they are currently nowhere near a licence. I don't think they're in contention for promotion this season anyway.

I don't think they're in contention for promotion this season anyway. They haven't really been close to a title challenge since they started. Last year they did finish 2nd to Stranraer reserves but were 18 points behind. Think they lost some players as well in the summer and are now sitting 5th. I notice they're calling it the Synergy Arena now

It was the proposal to do if we were to win the league but not get the lights but as the lights are pretty much up now then looks like we will be staying at Carmuirs
Le Tout P'ti FC
Dalkeith are replacing the wonky old rope barriers around the pitch with shiny steel efforts. Probably wonky barriers and licensed grounds are incompatible. Boo.
FairWeatherFan
On a negative note. I saw a tweet by Craigroyston this morning saying they had another act of vandalism to deal with.

It seems to happen every few years - and will probably continue to until massive £44M flood defence works for the town are complete (work hasn't started yet and is due for completion in "late 2022"). I think after a particularly bad flood a few years ago - it may actually have been 2 or 3 within short period - they put the floodlight electrics above ground level, plus some other mitigating measures inside. This was 2016, IIRC:
HibeeJibee
Flooding quite bad - interview with Hawick secretary here showing damage: Unfortunately their next 4 games are at home... King Cup tie, inter-conference league game, league game where they've already played the return, and League Cup tie.

Could work for both clubs if Selkirk are making noises about a return soon
Burnie_man
Must be gutting to see after the hard work put into renovations. One of our first games as Seniors was down there last season, a great place to watch football and a warm welcome. Good luck to them.
HibeeJibee
Hawick played up at Gala today and are at Hawick Linden RFC next week. Lot of flood warnings in place tonight so not impossible the ground could be inundated again in the early hours. Damage has been caused to the downstairs facilities - dressingrooms, gymnasium and club offices etc. - and their car park has been wrecked. Due to previous floods they aren't insured. Crowdfunding appeal has been launched for £1,000 to help with repairs: https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/david-slight-1 If they can use Volunteer Park/etc. at least gate income will be coming in but obviously no bar, and rentals to pay. HibeeJibee
Hawick's crowdfunding appeal has now surpassed £800 of their £1,000 target including club contributions of £50s from Tweedmouth and Earlston Rhymers and £100 from Bonnyrigg.
