It (Threave) can always hold games with any conditions on a Wednesday night when every other team in the League struggle to get a team to CD with signed players working shifts and that for a 7.30 ko. p.s how many League points have they picket up Wednesday nights this season so far ?

It has always been accepted ( sometimes grudgingly!) that the home club knows what is best for their pitch.

No point in risking ruining your pitch for the foreseeable future just to please the keyboard critics. I think with more 3G pitches in the area clubs could give more thought to changing venues. Something for the Southern Counties to ponder?
