Waiting for my capsule machine to give up the ghost (also delonghi) before I will probably buy one.
Herman Hessian
aero-press is pretty good to be fair, but if you're going to do it properly, bialetti is the only way to go peruvian beans + italian technology - the french know f**k all about coffee..

CountyFan
Everyone knows the best widely available, non specialist beans/ground coffee is red LaVazza. However, I can heartily recommend the Lidl French Blend (cream and blue coloured packet) pre ground beans which I use in my cafetiere as a budget option. They cost like £1.25 a packet and it's probably the single best value thing anywhere on the planet. So, so good.
superbigal
I just checked and I paid £178.72 from Amazon Warehouse. My condition was I think just brand new box damage. Currently they appear to have 5 in stock at £178.19 The condition is lower (Used Acceptable) than what I bought. Looking at the details most appear to be cosmetic scatches. Not 100% sure I would myself have bought that condition. However the current new price is not too shabby at the moment at £237.68 It is amazingly clean in how it deals with all the waste. It however doesn't give you any crema on your espresso nor does it replicate the consistency or flavour of a good espresso. The crema is to do with whether or not your moka pot has a certain valve or not. Mine does not and produces very little or no crema. Not sure if there's a way to modify it. I still love it though, different taste than espresso of course. Very lucky being in Glasgow and having so many local roasters nearby. Need to get some new beans ordered.
Cruyff14
If you buy a Bialetti Brikka, it makes the crema. More expensive than the Moka though

TiWill
Hello I have a kind of stupid question, so I'm sorry in advance I've got a moka pot as a birthday present from my friends. I'm rather new to it and in a box there was a pot and filters that caused my questions. What for do they put filters there? I thought that moka pot doesn't need any extra filters. Those filters are pretty similar to these. Edited September 28, 2020 by TiWill

Would happily sell it on to someone who would get more use out of it, if anyone is interested?
