So getting back to the penalty and if anyone actually knows the rules  ?

He does seem to touch the ball first with either his back or his head. Could be deemed dangerous play but that's an indirect free kick isn't it ? The ref looks as close to the incident as the Lino that gave it so why take his word rather than what he as looking at especially given the Lino has the worst hair style ever and seems to spend his days pulling lumps out his head.

The ball did come off his back of his head first.

What are you on about? He's taken him out and fouled him, doesn't matter if it's with the back of his heed or his big toe. It's a clear penalty.

So any player who wins the ball then takes the player is a penalty ? Should be a few every game then.

Looked like his head hit the ball 1st not that it matters.

He's already fell on top of his left leg and fouled him before he reaches the ground, and then when he's on the ground the ball rolls and hits him on the back of his head. Looks clear to me.

Put your glasses on and look again.

Garden does play the ball with his head before any contact. Still totally bizarre. He obviously thought a shot was coming and tried to block it. Sure to be on Soccer AM on Saturday.

Spot on

i hope it does get some coverage as would love to hear a ref justify the pen decision. Bizarre and unorthodox yes but touching the ball then player is the same as a tackle with the foot surely.

not that the rules matter to the Cowden hating roasters on here.
