D.A.F.C
Rolls Royce plans 16 mini-nuclear plants for UK https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/science-environment-54703204 Drax in England is mostly biomass now but even that is trees from America brought over in pellets (wooden pellets!) on a boat so not really that environmentally friendly. At least we are sustainable but perhaps need to look at binning the fossil fuel sector? Our plans say The Scottish Government's energy plan calls for 100% of electricityconsumption to be generated through renewable sources by 2020, and 50% of total energy consumption (including transportation) by 2030. Continuing improvements in engineering and economics are enabling more of the renewable resources to be utilised. Surely this means that the North Sea sector which includes GM and MM will be shut down within five years? Could we be pro active and replace both with mini nuclear plants or convert to biomass?

I'm sure that we can trust them not to do anything evil.
Shandon Par
Tired of being in the shadow of their neighbours across The Forth, Grangemouth boffins have been hard at work. By distilling the misery and shattered hopes of Falkirk fans into a gas abs burning them they have created an environmental nuisance to rival Mossmorran.

Live a stone’s throw from there though. We have a witch’s grave on the beach (someone has taken the skull though) and a hook on a rock where you can tie folk to it for when the tide comes in. Fifers eh?!! Fine boxing club at Valleyfield too. 2 hours ago, Bairnardo said: 2 hours ago, Shandön Par said: Hedgecutter, do your thing.

Ned Nederlander
That's Kinneil flaring, so technically (possibly) not Grangemouth but Kinneil Kerse - and a BP flare rather than a Petroineos/Ineos one. It's fare lighting the place up right enough.

Hedgecutter
I've been in that park many a time. Eta: as a kid (usually after a cycle down to Crombie Point and along the coastal track), not as a creepy adult without kids of his own. Probably a good idea to add that bit.
