Stranraer v The Kirkcaldy Juggernauts

Recommended Posts

Bizarre to see a Rovers fan complain about Scotland having too many clubs tbh. If there ever was a cull then the wee team would be absorbed by the real team in Fife, the mighty Dunfermline Atheltic.

Bizarre to see a Townie in a thread that has absolutely nothing to do with the Pars.

 Probably a good idea to get this thread bumped.

Weirdly, the first game being abandoned might have worked out well for us. Stranraer won at the weekend against a resurgent Airdrie team which is a good result, but they've released a good few players. Glad the game got rearranged for a Saturday too as it's more sensible really for both sets of players and fans. Hopefully we can pick up 3 points and extend the gap.

Stranraer are pretty decent at home so I think this will be a harder game than many think.

With Alloa away the following week, we could really do with a win. The draw against Ayr was fine, providing we can take advantage of the games in hand.

Agreed. If we don’t win this, Saturday’s draw turns into a bit of a poor result. It’s obviously not a ‘must-win’ as we’ll still be top with a game in hand regardless of outcome, but it really does have the feel of a crucial match.

We’ve won our last two away from home, both great wins, but if we’re honest both could’ve easily turned into draws on another day. With three on the bounce away from home we can’t afford to return to October/November’s away form...

Stranraer might have cut back their squad but our away form isn’t great and I expect a tough game, should we have enough to take 3 points? yes but they have to be won, turn up expecting to win and we’ll be punished.

This is a huge set of fixtures for us with 3 away games and we need to find our form away from Starks. Do Stranraer have any sort of TV coverage or is it just RaithTV audio for this one?
