The wife sent me for beer earlier. Toyed with the idea of wanting alcohol free stuff then changed her mind....

Then announced that she could go a really cold Tennents.

Absolutely outsTanding development.

As long as she knows the rules about touching any fridge beers belonging to you then you're all good

Fellow T lovers, is there anywhere in Australia to get a pint of T? A mates currently over there doing a bit of travelling and he’s been deprived. Currently in Townsville, Queensland but think he’ll be heading for Brisbane and then Sydney soon.

Any suggestions much appreciated

Been a long while since draught T was available regularly over here although the Scottish Arms Hotel in Bowral, NSW (where Don Bradman grew up) used to stock it but that’s going back 5 years or more. Best bet would be any remaining Scottish, Irish or English themed pubs or pubs where arse cheeks supporters clubs meet or host meetings of a Caledonian Society if they still exist. He’ll even struggle to find cans and if he does it will be the 1885 Lager version at 5%. Speciality bottle shops best bet rather than the Dan Murphy, BWS, First Choice stores.

My boy won the Tennents "Best Seat in the House" competition. Him and three others have full hospitality at tonight's game, a tour of the T brewery at a later date and a signed Scotland shirt. Rarely have I wished I was there more...assuming he would have taken his auld faither that is.

Don't drink Tennents much these days as its almost always awful, and there's many better choices now, however had a pint today in about the only place in Stirling that still does a decent pint of it, Port Customs.
