Love the fact you had a tan of it before taking a pic.

Man after my own heart.

In these desperate times I have decided to contact tennents to see if they will provide me with a recipe for their golden necTar.

I attempted to butter them up by having a well placed dig at Brewdog in my email.

Standby lads. We might be about to start up P&Bs first mass distribution network.

Where do the bottles of Tennents sit in the draught/bottle/can hierarchy? I would assume second but thought I'd double check before I get some more lager in tomorrow.

Bottles of Tennents the likeliest but if poor reviews I'll go for Kronenbourg.

I've been telt by people who know far more about beer than me that light ruins lagers and cans help them keep their taste better and for longer (and is also why beer bottles are usually coloured glass) but, dunno if it's in ma heid, I always find cans make beer taste metallic and much prefer a bottle to a tin wherever possible. More to the point, and the opposite of what I just said, I'm so indoctrinated to big yellow cans of TL I think drinking out of a bottle would feel weird.

I am really missing pints :(

For Tennent’s I’d go with cans. Gaffer cans. Pint, gaffer can, normal can, bottle imo when ranking good Lady T.

You are correct. Light encourages oxidation. Causes discolouration and off flavours. It's especially bad the more hops you have.

You are also unsurprisingly correct. Tennents is an anomaly in this particular spectrum.
