parkcircus
Don't get me started on this, Buffs had 6 always in a row, and a gap for this quadrangle thing, only changed due to home draw in the Scottish
WheHo
9 hours ago, Triple h said: Surely this has to be addressed or is it an agenda against some teams ?,with Holm Park due for refurbishment early next year you would think Yoker would have had at least half their games at home the same as Clydebank The side effect of this is that it could delay the refurbishment of Holm Park. If the work did start in January as planned it would be almost impossible for Yoker to play so many home games at another clubs ground if they had to vacate Holm Park. Also the cost of this itself would be prohibitive.

kenny131
The yoker fixtures are nothing short of scandalous 1 at home 8 away this sort of thing could fold a club with no home gate income. Surely the fixture man has to answer to someone. I don't a job in the world that doesn't have a boss checking your doing your job properly unless if you own said buisness. These failings just show how un organised the whole shambles at the SFA is from top to bottom.
Triple h
How can you have a fair chance and what about sporting integrity,it's ok saying clubs should have done something about it but the man clearly has no shame.

On another serious note although hes the fixtures man why hasnt someone else from the west region committee said or done anything? Although its his responsibility the ongoing shambles reflects on the group as a whole not the individual.

West Region Office Bearers, these are the people who need to be contacted to sort this farce out, http://www.scottishfa.co.uk/sjfa/scottish_football.cfm?page=4131 that Yoker are having these issues and the President is attached to Clydebank says it all about the communication that doesn't go on. Club members at the clubs of these committee members need to be putting pressure on to get this issue resolved as soon as possible. edit - assuming that page is up to date for 2017. Triple h
Are you saying Clydebank are getting preference of home fixtures (next 4 at home excluding cup ties) although they could get a run of away games.

sweep
Lugar have five games at home from the 21st of October but it is not the fixture man to blame. Lugar have drawn Linlithgow in the Scottish and Clydebank in the West both at home. Their away fixtures have been moved to accommodate their two home ties in the cup. The way the weather is I doubt very much if they will manage all five. Perhaps they will ask Ardeer to switch their league game and have two at home one away two at home Oh! the joys

So how could the fixture secretary have helped in Lugars situation? The fixtures were 21/10/17 Annbank home , 28/10/ Muirkirk away changed to Linlithgow home Scottish , 04/11 Ardeer home, 11/11 Clydebank home West, 18/11 Saltcoats home. The only way to ease the pressure is to ask Ardeer to play lugar at Ardeer They have already been at Saltcoats and Annbank are having drainage problems

No league fixtures should ever have been set for 28th October as this was already set as SJCR2 day involving all but a handful of WR clubs. 2. The draw for the West of Scotland Cup R1 was made way back at the AGM in June, so which teams had home & away draws was already known well in advance - also the date was set as 11th November way back in August before any of the November league fixtures were released. 3. Whatever the draw for those cup competitions, they should be ignored in setting alternating home and away league fixtures around them so the latest tranche of league fixtures for Lugar, after 21/10/17 Annbank home (which was released in the first tranche), should ideally have looked like this: 28/10 left blank waiting for the SJCR2 draw 4/11 away league fixture 11/11 WoSCR1 Clydebank home 18/11 home league fixture 25/11 blank waiting for SJCR2 results & R3 draw 2/12 away league fixture 9/12 home 16/12 away With only 11 teams in the Ayrshire Division this season, the odd postponement or SJC replay shouldn't prevent the teams completing their fixtures in comfortable time or with minimal late-season congestion.
