South Fan Posted September 28, 2017 Share Posted September 28, 2017 I must have been off my head last night to venture out in that weather to watch football but it was only a stone throw away so I took in the Annan vs St Cuthberts game, I've seen lately that the referees have been getting a bit of negative press but to be fair last night the 3 official were very good quite refreshing to see a good commanding performance by them, I'm not sure who they were my feeling is central belt, to the game I think St Cuthberts deserved their win, I've taken in a couple of Annan games this season and that probably has to be their best performance to date, but it did help that they had Peter Murphy first team player/manager playing along with a couple more first team squad members, the mixture of that and the young lads really gave St Cuthberts a tough night but they played well and grinded out another good win, St Cuthberts really do play some nice football at times and to be fair Annan struggled to match them when they got into gear.
