pleslie99
Was told by a friend, who's team won one of the SWFL2 regional divisions, that on the day they won the league there was nobody there from SWF despite it being almost certain they would win and the league trophy was posted to them. How bad is that? Well my team was the opponent of Morton when they won the league. We didn't hang around when they had a presentation at the end but there didn't seem to be anyone from SWF there to present them with the medals and trophy. Seemed to be done all in house. Not sure if this is team your talking about but yeah I thought at the time it was poor from swf.
Tutankhamen
Looked online to find a history of the Scottish Ladies International team. Starts 1971 followed by UEFA calling the various FAs to allow it. One country voted against the idea. You can guess the one country. It's then followed by a rule allowing the use of league grounds for female football, seems they were banned from using league grounds in the 1920s. Clubs in the 1920s were told dare let the women in and the club would be banned from the league. SFA officially take control in 1998!!! First International game 1972 First full time female club, Celtic in 2019
